Grilled Triangular Sandwiches with Chutney
Ingredients
For Sandwich

4 bread slices (whole wheat or multigrain preferred)
-
2 tablespoons butter or ghee
-
1 boiled potato (thinly sliced)
-
1 small cucumber (thinly sliced)
-
1 small tomato (thinly sliced)
-
2 cheese slices (optional)
-
Salt and black pepper as per taste
For Green Chutney
-
1 cup fresh coriander leaves
-
8–10 mint leaves
-
1 green chilli (optional)
-
1 teaspoon lemon juice
-
1 small garlic clove (optional)
-
Salt as per taste
-
1–2 tablespoons water (for blending)
Blend all ingredients into a smooth chutney.
Method

Prepare the Bread
Spread butter or ghee lightly on one side of each bread slice. -
Apply Chutney
Spread green chutney on the inner side of the bread slices. -
Add Filling
Layer potato slices, cucumber, tomato, cheese, salt, and pepper evenly. -
Close and Grill
Cover with another bread slice. Grill in a sandwich toaster or pan until golden and crispy. -
Cut into Triangles
Slice diagonally to create triangular sandwiches. -
Serve Hot
Serve with extra chutney or ketchup.
